Design and construction of a portable steampunk time machine for the "Tal-X – River of Time" project.

The time machine was developed as a portable hero prop in the steampunk style. The brief called for an aged but functional object that had been submerged in water for an extended period and exhibited corresponding signs of decay. I was responsible for the concept, design, and complete construction of the prop.

My design combines mechanical, decorative, and functional elements into a narrative object with a clear "used world" aesthetic.

Technically, the prop features three separately switchable light cycles and an integrated steam function that emanates from a damaged hose. I 3D-printed the rotating year indicators and parts of the internal mechanism and integrated them into the time machine.
